Abstract

This article has its origins in the neurotic triad of the masses that Viktor Frankl described a little less than four decades ago, calling special attention to depression, addiction and aggression that became increasingly common in younger generations. Aggression has a notorious cultural correlation in societies like ours. It has been researched academically and it is even possible to find citations in theories on human violence, once the distinction between aggression and violence has been established. Clearly, Frankl’s view is an interesting one from the perspective of location and even from the perspective of the hierarchy that it establishes between the human being and the aggressive behavior, making use of the capability of defiant opposition, present in the spiritual dimension, which is, on his opinion, a specifically human dimension.
This work, the result of an exploratory research carried out by the author, in a single-case study format, obtained promising results, after facilitating the mobilization of a series of personal resources and the implementation of strategies towards the search for the meaning of life in a 40-years-old adult. The implicit assumption is that a Meaning- Centered Psychotherapy based (MCP) contributes to the attention and prevention of aggressive behaviors meaningful signs of effectiveness.
