This paper aims to describe the perception of meaning of life for students of the faculties of Protestant theology in Colombia, regarding their training, from the definitionproposed Efrén Martinez (2007) “The sense is affective and cognitive perception of values that invite the person to act in one way or another, to a particular situation or life in general, giving the person a consistent and personal identity”. This work is the firstpart because it takes into account only the perception of meaning of life and training of the faculty of evangelical theology University Baptist Foundation of the city of Cali, by gender, semester, age, state civil, occupation and sense comparing life with vocational training.
