This researching report intends to frame the investigation about evangelical magazines in Colombia from an alternative perspective; specificallyfrom a historiographical study which responds to recently evangelical organizational challenges. To match the point, this article relates how and what kind of institutional conditions were produced this magazines. It implies to stand out the real people who make pos-sible these publications, its conflictsand its organizational politics. To the end appear a general overlook about what could be the meaning of this magazines for the country on this period (1943-1953).

   Villamil es egresado de la Universidad Bautista con grado meri-torio por su investigación sobre prensa evangélica en la época de la violencia (2011), actualmente es catedrático de la misma en el área de idiomas e investigación; áreas en las cuales ha venido destacándose en la formación de semilleros de investigación multidisciplinar.
