This article aims to describe the way in which research is being conducted at an educational institution in the city of Cali, which will make a study of the contributions offered pastoral child-hood, through the literature review of contemporary authors and others have excelled. From these findings,it seeks to organize recommendations that can be implemented to support children College Bethany Baptist who suffer adverse situations of neglect in their early stages of development and also as a preventive action to those not suffering yet. Therefore it may be inferred that the progress achieved through the research analysis of the stages in which the project is located.

   Realizó estudios de pedagogía y se desempeña como psicólogo en orientación familiar, Teólogo de la Fundación Universidad Bautista. Docente de Extensión de la Fundación Universitaria Bautista. Pastor asociado en la Iglesia Bautista Betania de la ciudad de Cali, Colombia.
